1832, Danvers, Massachusetts Mary Upton and
Eliza Suttonare listed
as members of the Ladies Unitarian Society,
which organized the social gatherings of the church, such as an outing to pick
blueberries at the Daniel P, King’s farm (Crystal Lake in West Peabody). They
also raised funds to purchase an organ for the church. (Collection of the
